ONE Musicfest’s ‘Searching for the ONE’ contest has been unbelievable this year!
With hundreds of talented musicians and artists across the U.S. entering, and over 20,000 fans voting to see their favorite act perform at ONE Musicfest, we’ve narrowed the field down to 10 incredible finalists.
Each finalist brings something different to the table, with sounds ranging from R&B, Hip-Hop, techno, and even a mix of classical.
While there can only be ONE winner, each finalist has something that the OMF audience will enjoy.

A classically trained singer with influential energy from Mozart, Calvin Richardson, and Prince the Felixx is a hybrid between smooth R&B and todays trap sounds. Recently embarking on his "All Summer Long" tour, Felixx has garnered mainstream attention with the release of his new single "Thot," through EMPIRE, which has reached over 1 million streams online and already taken to radio. Recently opening for 21 savage, Felixx has shared the stage with superstar artist such as; Sean "Diddy" Combs, Baby Face, CeeLo Green, Shelia E and more.
Angelina Sherie a multi-faceted talent whose message is one of love, faith, and encouragement. It’s these core values together with her passion for music that make up the fabric of who she is. Whether she is touring the world or performing in concert venues all over the World, she uses her voice to tug at the hearts and move the soul.
Troop is aiming to give a feeling to the international market of music. From the live instrumentation of translucent production to songs with stories of life everyone can relate to, Troop Brand is bringing the balance that is needed in music to the masses.
Growing up traveling the world with his parents, Troop became a classically trained opera singer first, gradually growing into various other genres in music. Setting the bar high at a young age, the eagerness to bring a versatile element to his music ensued.
Angel White is an Atlanta-based singer/songwriter infusing her classic R&B roots with a contemporary sound while delivering a fresh approach to storytelling. Through raw yet equally smooth melodies, Angel carefully crafts her lyrical content through the lens of introspection and authenticity.
Having toured as a background singer for artists such as K. Michelle and Raury, Angel has traveled the world sharing her gifts, while developing a devoted fan base back home in Atlanta. In 2015, Angel was selected to support Wale at his Atlanta tour stop at the historic Tabernacle further solidifying her bubbling presence in the city’s music scene.
A-Lex is a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and producer from Decatur, Ga. He began in 2008 as a recording engineer. A-Lex has written and recorded for artists such as Trippie Redd, Keke Palmer, and Musiq Soulchild on his Grammy-nominated album “Feel The Real”.
With inspiration from artists like Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean, & Andre 3000, A-Lex has crafted a refreshing sound that will keep you engaged by its tasteful blending of R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop.
BLAME THE YOUTH
Blame the Youth is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina and includes the talents of lead guitarist (Alexa), drummer (Kynadi), and bassist/vocals (Amber). In their music, they talk about the norm and the taboo, and they explore them in ways that will intrigue your ears and make you crave more.
NEDLOG is the flame emoji..PERSONIFIED !!! A group of 4 rappers/producers , NEDLOG is a perfect combination of insane lyrics and immaculate production. Hailing from Stone Mountain,GA , NEDLOG brings an original and refreshing sound & perspective to hip-hop that separates them from the repetitive cliché artist that usually come from Atlanta. If you're looking for that amazing group with a new HOT sound then look no further.
As a creator of experiences, Aina’s talent of using her music to tell her stories has presented her with several opportunities to open up for acts such as J.Holiday, Talib Kweli, Soulja Boy, Keith Murray, Crucial Conflict, Sammie, and B2K. Her audience consists of multigenerational, like-minded male and female individuals who find themselves embracing the energy of Aina Brei’Yon.
Band of Brothas
Sharod Virtuoso, Andre Brown, Jordan and Slim are well aware of their talents. Their warm confidence is exuded across their sound which bursts through the speakers as a mix of a la alternative soul–a healthy heap of rhythm and blues, quiet storm and jazz-rock elements. The brothas met in 2009 and dominated the local Atlanta music scene as that band.
Joslyn and The Sweet Compression
Based out of Lexington, Kentucky, in a little less than two years, Joslyn and the Sweet Compression have become the Region’s most visible voice for multi-directional soul music and one of its top live draws. Whether it’s as a Headliner or opening for National Acts such as Nicole Atkins, Natalie Prass and the Victor Wooten Trio, or playing one of the fifteen Music Festivals they are a part of in 2018… they have left a trail of hips moving and heads bobbing behind them.
